Built for Mobile, Not Shipped In from Somewhere Else

Mobile gets over 60 inches of rain a year, love bug seasons twice a year, and mosquitoes from March through October. We've been building screened porches here long enough to know that materials and methods that work in Arizona or Georgia don't always hold up on the Gulf Coast.

Everything we build is designed for the local climate: pressure-treated or aluminum framing, proper slope for drainage, and screen mesh rated for fine insects. We pull permits through Mobile Building Services, and every job is inspected and signed off by the city.

We work across Mobile County and regularly go over to Baldwin County -- Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, and surrounding communities. If you're within a reasonable drive of Mobile, we can get there.

What Our Customers Say

Rated 4.8 out of 5 across 39 verified reviews.

★★★★★
"We had an open back porch that was basically unusable from April through October because of the mosquitoes. They screened the whole thing in with no-see-um mesh and we've used it every weekend since. Solid work, fair price."
Marcus T. -- Spring Hill, Mobile
★★★★★
"I called three companies before these guys. The first two gave me quotes over the phone without even seeing the job. Mobile Screened Porches came out the next day, measured everything, and gave me a real number. The work came out great."
Diane W. -- Saraland
★★★★★
"We're in Fairhope and were worried about finding someone willing to come over the bay. No problem at all. They handled the permit with Baldwin County too, which I was not looking forward to dealing with myself. Very happy with the result."
Robert and Karen S. -- Fairhope

Common Questions

Most projects in Mobile run between $8,000 and $30,000 depending on size, framing material, and screen type. Basic rescreens on an existing slab are on the lower end. Custom builds with new framing, insulated roofing, and no-see-um screen cost more. We give free on-site estimates before you commit to anything.
We recommend 20x20 no-see-um mesh for most Mobile homeowners. Love bugs in May and September and heavy mosquito activity from March through October make fine-mesh screen worth the upgrade. It blocks more light than standard screen but holds up well in Gulf Coast conditions.
Yes. Mobile requires a building permit for new screened porches and most enclosures. We handle all permit applications through Mobile Building Services -- you don't have to deal with the city yourself. Permit processing typically takes 1 to 3 weeks.
Once permits are approved, most builds take 3 to 7 business days on-site. Larger enclosures or projects that include electrical or HVAC rough-in take longer. We give you a realistic timeline upfront rather than promising a finish date we can't guarantee.
Yes -- this is one of the most common jobs we do. If you have a covered porch with a slab or wood deck already in place, we can add screen framing and panels without starting from scratch. We check the existing structure first to confirm it can support the new framing.
Yes. We regularly work in Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, and surrounding Baldwin County communities. The drive over the bay is no problem for our crews. We cover all of Mobile County and most of Baldwin County for screened porch work.
